Dear Partners of SAP UCC Munich,
We are continuously working on improving and expanding our teaching offerings. Today, we would like to draw your attention to the latest developments. Machine Learning and Generative Artificial Intelligence with WatsonX.ai In collaboration with our partner IBM, we are developing a new curriculum designed to introduce students to selected topics in Machine Learning and Generative Artificial Intelligence using the IBM WatsonX.ai Data Platform. We are looking for instructors who already teach or plan to teach Data Analytics, ML, or AI and are interested in testing the curriculum in their teaching. During the pilot phase, you will receive free access to the WatsonX platform for teaching purposes. In this phase, we aim to gather feedback on ideas for curriculum development and any issues with WatsonX to refine it for the future. We would be delighted if you are interested. The pilot phase begins in the summer semester of 2025. For inquiries or to express your interest, please contact us anytime at support@ucc.tum.de or via our customer portal. Further information can be found at the following link: WatsonX.ai (PILOT) Enterprise Application Integration Curriculum (BTP Integration Suite) Our new curriculum on Enterprise Application Integration using the SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) aims to provide students with practical knowledge in integrating modern IT system landscapes. The goal is to convey the challenges and opportunities of integrating on-premise solutions, cloud services, and external partner and government systems. Motivation: In an era of increasingly complex corporate IT systems, effective integration of processes and data is crucial to support enterprise architecture. However, this important topic is rarely addressed in computer science programs. Our curriculum bridges this knowledge gap, preparing students for the demands of modern IT landscapes. Scope: The current version of the program is available in English and includes approximately 30-40 hours of teaching and individual work for participants. The focus is on using the SAP Integration Suite to simulate real-world scenarios in a hybrid IT environment. Pilot Phase: We invite instructors to participate in our pilot phase. The registration deadline for the pilot phase is December 20, 2024. As part of the pilot phase, an introductory Q&A session will be held on January 14, 2025, to address questions and provide an overview of the program. To register for the pilot phase, please email support@ucc.tum.de. Further information can be found at the following link: BTP Integration Suite (PILOT) Process Mining with SAP Signavio Process Intelligence We would like to remind you that you can apply for access to our Signavio Process Intelligence teaching environment as part of the pilot phase until January 15, 2025. If you apply by this date, you can use the teaching environment free of charge for one year. Simply send us an informal email at support@ucc.tum.de. The main learning objectives of the course are to introduce students to the fundamental concepts of Process Mining. Students will deepen their knowledge by applying the learned concepts in practical exercises using SAP Signavio Process Intelligence. Additional information about the curriculum content can be found at the following link: Curriculum - Process Mining with SAP Signavio Process Intelligence Next-Generation Data Center In collaboration with our partner IBM, we are also developing a new teaching offering that covers the technical administration of SAP systems in hybrid cloud environments. This program provides an excellent opportunity to gain a comprehensive overview of the functioning of SAP enterprise architectures. Course participants will also have the chance to work with our new IBM Power10 environment. The course is free of charge and covers exciting topics such as virtualization with IBM PowerVM, Red Hat Linux, automation with containers and Ansible, and the administration of SAP HANA databases. We are pleased to announce that the course will soon be available in a pilot phase for all members of the SAP University Alliances.
